I was recently out in one of our parks, and as I was going to a work-related dinner with my wife, hadn't brought my camera. Big mistake. There was great shot of a whole family of ducks lined up along the edge of a pond, with the mother duck looking on. I always seem to spot a dozen good pictures when I don't bring my camera. You are wiser than I. The main's composition is better, but I like the story that alternate one tells. The light in the second alternate seems a little harsh, but the composition is nice, and it is a nice slice of life shot. The third alternate is my favorite. You really capture the sense of infinity in the sea and sky in this shot.
