[Author Prev] [Author Next] [Thread Prev] [Thread Next] [Author Index] [Topic Index] [Home] [Search]I'm looking to go SLR digital and have been doing a lot of reading lately. I have narrowed my search to the Nikon D100 which has a release date of mid July and the new Fuji S2 Pro which is to be released in August. These would both fit nicely as I have all the latest Nikkor glass. Both camera specs look good but from pictures off Japanese web sites it looks like the Fuji is better in picture quality. I also noted that the Fuji uses their proprietary super CCD, which is much smaller in size than the Nikon CCD, and there was a lot of discussion as to the way Fuji specified their CCDs. Any comments would be appreciated. Sorry for being so off topic but I have a lot of faith in the minds residing here. And then there's the Sigma coming in the fall with the new Faveon chip. Decisions decisions. Thank you, Sam Krneta - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
