Subject: [Leica] Effect of VF magnification on ability to minimize camera movement

Dear All,

I've never seen any discussion on this point up until now, so please
forgive me if I'm stating the obvious. :-)

It occurs to me that, with an M camera, the higher the viewfinder
magnification, the more easily the photographer can detect camera
movement while preparing to take a shot. This should make it easier for
him/her to minimize camera movement or shake during the process of
shooting.

Seems to me this is yet another reason to use a higher VF magnification
with longer lenses, in addition to the obvious benefits of easier
composition with larger framelines and more accurate focusing with a
more magnified RF base.

Regards,

=====
Ray
