Sound effects are added after the shoot. They come from a grab bag of 
stock sounds they have recorded. Thus virtually every HW production with 
a camera will make the same whirr-zit sound. Continental productions 
often use the actual sound on the set! This is why many English 
productions suffer from excessive wind noise and character's voices that 
fade to inaudibility.
