If a TTL camera is set to "OFF" and it still runs fresh batteries down, 
then it is probably time for a repair. You should try covering the two 
small test terminals in the battery compartment with electrical tape but 
this was a problem only on the very first cameras. I would only send it 
to the distributor as they will have access to the latest service info 
and parts. Unfortunately the repair may be expensive. Can you return it 
or at least involve the seller in the repair?
