The lens date table suggests that lenses with serial numbers after 3,730,290 were produced after 1994. This would make the lens in question (3,746,987) a type 4. <<Eric said: I have been scouring the net for M lens serial number info to no avail.>> _________________________________________________________________ MSN Photos is the easiest way to share and print your photos: http://photos.msn.com/support/worldwide.aspx - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
