When things warm up us brits enter into the spirit of things with sandals and black socks, knotted handkerchief on head and trousers rolled up to mid calf but it has to be a lot warmer. When we do venture onto the beach it's a bit like the opening scenes of 'Saving Private Ryan' but without the bullets. Little groups of people huddled together trying to take advantage of any cover, a windbreak, an almost immeasurable dip in the contours of the beach or possible the largest member of the group. The sun was out only briefly and these two shots of the beach were more representative of the of the kind of summer we are getting so far. http://www.geebeephoto.com/html/gal2_09.html http://www.geebeephoto.com/html/gal2_10.html Graham http://geebeephoto.com - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
