Thanks for the best wishes regarding the football win.
My wife is more of a fan than I and she is ecstatic.

Regarding ADSL : I work for BT and was in on the initial trials.
Whether you are fed underground or via overhead wires , the only
things to worry about are, your distance from the local telephone exchange
( can limit bandwidth due to line losses, or be so far as not to work at
all ) and whether the relevant kit  ( DSLAM and MUX  ) is in place.

BTW I cannot get ADSL at the moment as my local exchange is not fitted with
the kit, and it could be some time, and i'm on a dial up 56K modem :-(
