If you're on a budget, it's much smarter to get a Bessa R2. The DR is nice, but heavy, so the regular 50 Summi from the same era is a better choice (and prob. cheaper). Or the 8-element 35 'cron from roughly that time too. Both a great lenses. Since the introduction of the Bessa R2, for the starting-out rangefinder user, there really isn't much point in getting a used Leica, unless you are a snob (like me ;) or are such a gear-head that you absolutely must have a RapidWinder (like me ;). The VF in the Bessa is outstanding, the solidity is great, and the advantage of an M6 over an R2 for the beginner is marginal. You still get access to the whole range of Leica lenses (both LTM and M-mount) and with the significantly less cost of the R2, you can afford to get a good lens (which will show in the prints) or more film compared to buying an M6.
