Gray market is the same film, but it could have started off in the US, then
sent to India or France, then sat on a dock for a few weeks, then sent by
sailboat back to the US where it sat on another dock for a few more weeks,
then was sent to a camera store for sale.

Most gray market films are fine, but you do take some risk.
