All the final projects from this semester may be seen at http://web.mit.edu/21w.749/www/finalproject.html Keep in mind that these kids are all science students, NOT art or photo students. Some had never taken a photo course before. They spent the semester reading, looking at photos, writing about photo-related issues, and working on a documentary photo project. The great majority of the projects are worth a look - some are better written than they are photographed, but most of the kids definitely got the idea of what they were supposed to be doing - and a number of them say that they are now inspired to try to do more project work on their own. And, yes, one student had a beatup M6. The others used a wide assortment of equipment, from ancient Pentaxs and Minolta SLRs, to digtal P&Ss and a D1. Enjoy... B.
