I like the M4 better because its viewfinder is easier to see through especially for the 35mm lens. Sometimes its nice to just carry the IIIf with a collapsable 50. Neither has had major problems requiring a "parts" camera. One drawback is if you use the cameras together with different emulsions then you start juggling adapter rings when, for example, you move the 15mm C/V lens from the IIIf to the M4. They both take great pictures.
