I think the nostalgia thing is all about what you decided was really cool when you were about 18...but couldn't afford then. I do understand the motivation. If I could get a brand new 1972 BMW 3.0CS I'd go for that vs. the stuff BMW is building today...Don't know why...certainly not logical because the new cars are better in every way.
