I'd be the first in line - assuming my wife was out of the country ;-) - to
buy a realistically priced SP or S3 - but preferably an SP...with a built-in
meter. No question about it.

Yeah, but some of us are smart enough to hold out for the
bargain-basement-priced, plain vanilla (or chocolate paint) M6s.

Nikon should market a $2000. SP body for the economically challenged RF
user, just leic Leica does.
