Actually it was half assignment (for the office du tourisme) and half
vacation with my wife. We slept under a starry sky and full moon at the lac
Assal. This must be the saltiest place on earth and probably the lowest too!
My big Billingham aged veery rapidly in that area and my Timberland boots
almost got holes in the leather because of the salt! I loved the Day
(pronounce "die") forest and the lake "Abhé", where they shot part of
"planet of the apes"... Dittilou is very nice too.
