It reminds of what one ol' boy said to me, back when Mitterrand, a
socialist, became a president of the Fifth Republic. He said that he
just didn't give a damn if France went communist. Well, I just looked at
him, as I'm never surprised anymore, and asked him if that socialism of
the french had any similarities with the National Socialism of Central
and Eastern Europe. Needless to say, he just blinked and walked away,
and here I was ready for a little fun.
The day couldn't of been more perfect. I was in Big Bear, California
during the western days fair, and the men were walking around with
revolvers in western holster. It seemed that any one who wanted a gun
permit in San Bernadino County, in the mountains in particular, could
get a hand gun permit.
