To be sure all matter of high quality products have their share of "out of the box" failures. That's why in my household we now have a rule that ALL boxes, wrapping, etc are saved for several weeks to make sure the product doesn't crap out. Learned the hard way when I brought back a modem card that was working for 24 hours then stopped - local computer dealer refused to replace the item - the insisted that all the original packing be used. Was really pissed and cussed loudly in the store.
