This doesn't sound like Leica Day at any dealer in New York. Yes the 
event is expensive, but only because I always end up buying goodies :)  
Often Leica USA throws in a free checkup of the shutter speeds and 
anything else they might find wrong. Minor cleaning too. There is never 
a fee.
