Jeffery:

I like the Kodak films. I have always been impressed with the new E200. I
bought eight 100 foot rolls of it on Ebay a few years ago and it was very
cheap to use and I like the results. I have shot all of that and for my
trip to Paris, I bought a brick of E200. Some of the other films are too
contrasty for sports and you loose the shadow details.

I tired one roll of Provia 400F, but it was at EI 1600, though very
impressive. A lot more expensive than the E200. Prior to the introduction
of Provia 400F, E200 was finer grained and lower in contrast pushed to 400
than the old Provia 400 without a push.

I have shot a lot of Provia 100F lately and like its lower contrast and
nice colours. I brought some with me to Paris, but shot all E100VS. I
figured the city scene needed a little more punch to it. Even though the
E100 films are not as fine grained as Provia 100F, their grain structure
makes the slides look sharper.

Finally, I like shoot all of the same brand of film since I develop it
myself. The Kodak and Agfa films all have the same developing time in my
Jobo. The Fuji films have different times depending on the film.

Regards,

Robert
