Thing is, I feel partly responsible for not knowing about the warranty thing before buying from a foriegn dealer. The price was very low and the lens got here (NY) with hardly a wait, so I cant complain in that regard. Just that he should have pointed it out (grey market) in the description, if he was as forthright as he makes out to be.
