I usually shoot strangers from a distance, and rarely do I get this close to someone I do not know. Today, I went to the Doctor for my annual "wellness exam," and I noticed an elderly gentleman waiting across the room. Then someone came out and greeted him, and I realized it was Ben Johnson, a man who for much of his life, has given back to this community, a huge amount of the material wealth that he earned in various business pursuits. I sat next to him, and introduced myself; as we talked, I asked if I might photograph him. He kindly said yes. I'd like to share these shots with you. If you are on dialup, there are three pictures on the page, so it may go a little slow, but the whole load should not take more than 50 seconds. I just did not want to break up the set. http://www.sonc.com/johnson/ Regards, Sonny http://www.sonc.com - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
