But then the advantage of silence is gone. That's one of the main reasons
I'm saving for an M6 over a Bessa-R or SLR.

What it sounds like you're wishing for, to me - 1/4000, motordrive, better
viewfinder display - is a Konica Hexar RF... which is tempting. $1000 for a
body and 50/2 lens.
