Now that the M7 is here does not mean that Leica could not modify it. Ot is of course possible to use the shutter speed dial, which is what all of us M6 users do, and which I am still going to do. But if the M7 had matrix metering and could hold the auto-selected shutter speed exposure after exposure, I would buy one, for exactly the reason B.D. noted, speed of use in fast changing situations.
