Good point. I'll try and have a go at it this weekend. But it does bring up
a problem. With the Heliar essentially a single-aperture lens (f/5.6), and
already shooting with Acros at ISO 100, I was shooting at 1/250-1/500.
Perhaps if I pulled the Acros to ISO 40 and shot at f/8-f/11, the vignetting
would still be acceptable? Then I'd be shooting at 1/30-1/60.

Frank, when I went to school in the early seventies, it seemed every third
grad student drove a 64 Valiant, or its sibling, the Dodge Dart. Cheap,
reliable transportation, although often what blew out the tailpipe looked
like the efflux from a small steel mill! When Keith pulled up in this car,
It did bring back memories!

BTW, Sorry I couldn't fit the Chinatown LALUG get-together into my schedule,
but I would look forward to a follow-up shoot at the Long Beach Aquarium.

And to all who took time to view my images and offer comments, my sincere
thanks.

Best,

Ira Silverman
