Re your 'what do you want' question, I've yearned to go to the Long Beach Aquarium since it opened so as to get some neat aquatic compositions with my M6 or R8 but have not yet. Armed with fast, fast film and various lenses, perhaps this would result in a very interesting get-together for us post-shooting, not to indulge in "I'm better than you" exclamations but merely to have fun simply discovering what all of us captured on our respective emulsions and lenses. This would also generate very interesting moments involving seeing what the numerous Leica lenses present at the shoot accomplished under the difficult lighting. I could do some Web research on aquarium technique and forward the link(s) to all who would intend to participate before the date we choose. BTW, tripods and monopods are no doubt banned; thus the mentioning of fast, fast film. Let me know what your thoughts on this are. Meanwhile, I have no other immediate preferences as to subject material and would welcome location and subject suggestions from the other participants who were in Chinatown. Oh--I forgot to again thank Slobodan for generously providing batteries for my M6 on yesterday's shoot. I've never had batteries expire while out shooting and he was truly a lifesaver! Based on his generosity, I'm holding no grudge against his daughter for suddenly reaching her food-tarnished fingers into my Billingham bag at the lunch table and splattering my 24mm ASPH lens' glass with soy sauce, plum sauce, or whatever it was! Besides, Joseph Codispoti's outstanding ClearSight lens cleaner, as always, did a magnificent job in cleaning the muck off. Thanks, Slobodan!
