I have both 1200's, Lea - the printer and the scanner. I think the manual
calls the scanner "1200U", but it's still a bit confusing and something that
Epson's marketing department could have easily avoided. My 1200 is a
terrific proof printer for LightJet photos, and mine is "synced" quite well
with the printer at Ferrari Color Lab in Sacramento.
