It was offered at a give-away price at B&H, but having just checked their
website and seen that the are now selling something called the Sprint Scan
4000 Plus for the price you quote, I suspect that they were dumping the last
of the original 4000s and that they are now gone.

I thought that the price of Sprint Scan 4000 is still around
$1200.00(US).

Where can you get one for under $600.00?
