True, some fading has taken place in some of the film, but it is all quite printable, if maybe on slightly higher contrast paper. It's not like with colour neg stuff where you have colour shifts and serious crossovers. I have an excellent lab here for C41, and non of the stuff that he processed has shown any noticeable fading. Within the last few years even some of the local 1hr places have achieved remarkable quality control. Still, 95% of my B&W film is regular stuff. - -- * Henning J.
