For some reason, when I press the shutter down, or press in the button to change exposure modes, it beeps at me. How do I stop this noise? It works fine (i.e.. it shoots, winds the film and cocks the shutter) but I cannot walk around beeping my beeping SLR off all day. The R4 manual has nothing on this AFAICT, and I checked the battery voltage and it is 9.14VDC, which seems good.
