Subject: [Leica] R4 with Winder R4 - how do I shut it up?!?

I recently picked up a winder R4 for my R4 and I've put the 6 batteries
in and attached it. For some reason, when I press the shutter down, or
press in the button to change exposure modes, it beeps at me. How do I
stop this noise? It works fine (i.e.. it shoots, winds the film and
cocks the shutter) but I cannot walk around beeping my beeping SLR off
all day. The R4 manual has nothing on this AFAICT, and I checked the
battery voltage and it is 9.14VDC, which seems good.

Thanks for any advice,
