And ALL the current 90's and the 135 are one to several generations past our current 50's. So when we switch to a current 90 or 135 we are NOT going markedly down in quality. But up.... And in the case of the current 90 apo Asph or 135 apo - QUITE A BIT UP. So if we can hold the camera steady enough (because longer lenses can be deceptively more difficult to use) -- if the light is not blazing or if we have a tripod we can have QUALITY REACH!!! Not a compromised one. For me it's well worth it to have and use a current and complete Leica M system. And not be shooting from a collectors conglobation of bargain quaint glass. But to have some old glass as a creative OPTION is nice.
