Hard to believe that the same person might have designed the 75 Summilux,
one of Leicas best, and the old 35 Summilux, a well, marginal lens that,
were it not for its compactness and speed, probably would have sold about
two copies. ;-)

i was reading in the latest LHSA viewfinder about the 200/4 telyt
designed by dr. walter mandler.  i've also read that the 75 lux was
one of his last lenses.  did he also do the original 35 lux and
the noctilux?
