There really is little "confusing" about this.  It is a straightforward
schemata -- and I do know that Ted Grant and a number of others on this
List know it!

But my principal point was that it is sad that a fellow who was a "Bureau
Chief" during the Viet-Nam War would not have known something as basic as
this.  It merely indicates how deeply the US news media failed to
understand their own forces.
