(I say guys since the gals have been silent on this), but to castigate Erwin for having a heads up on the M7 is really unfair. I have gathered from his posts that even though he may occasionally pans a Leica lens, and is brutal in some of his observations, Leica seems to truast him to look at products ahead of release, and no doubt he can give them really useful user info. I am quite sure he had to sign a non-disclosure agreement to get the pre-release look at the M7, or any new Leica product they may let him play with! The fact that he didn't even hint about it over the last year says a lot for Erwins integrity, and it's therefore not hard to see why Leica trusts him with the new stuff. His observations, when I can understand some of them!- are fair and seem unbiased, even if he does sound enthusiatic from time to time (Hell, who wouldn't be?!). My only complaint is that some of his studies are so erudite, all I can say is, "Yeah, right...I guess...". However, the stuff I do understand seems balanced, and never have I really seen him proven wrong. So, lighten up. Burn some film. Wow the babes with your cool camera! As I approach the twilight of my years, I have come to realize that sweating the little shit just takes valuable time away from the rest of your life. Dan ( Chill... to the nex' episode!)
