I don't happen to like it, ergonomically or otherwise, but that's me. I do think that, like Leica's entire SLR line since the beginning, it is too little, too late, for too much money. In this era, perched on the film/digital cusp, with autofocus, auto everything - and the ability of the camera to do your wash as well ;-) - taken for granted, what is essentially a manual SLR can't just be good, or even very good, at the R8 price point - it better be miraculously spectacular; and that the R8 simply isn't B. B. D. - ---- True, the R8 has not come out of the gate as fast as Leica may have hoped, I'm sure. But this would not be the first time a company had a product which stumbled at first but them went on to be a reliable and steady performer over the long-term. Believe me, if I felt the R8 flat out sucked, I would say so. :-) But I don't, so I won't. - -Rick - -- - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
