It seems that someone noticed how expensive the ice storm was in the Midwest US in terms of lost service and expensive repairs. Therefore the tree trimmers were out earlier than usual this year trimming limbs near power lines. The first selection is the bucket passing between lines to get to offending limbs. http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=595461 Second, because it is so hard to position the boom between the wires the workers frequently reach way out of the bucket to get a limb. http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=595464 This third shot is a general view of the chaotic conditions these workers encounter. Or, it indicates why the power company wants the limbs trimmed. http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=595467 Last, after numerous lawsuits concerning damage to landscaping care was taken to remove downed limbs from yards. http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=595471 All images taken with the current 90 Elmarit on Delta 400 overexposed one stop to capture some detail in the faces of the workers. Use those electrons, support broadband before another company goes under. You get the drift, comments cheerfully accepted and desired.
