I use black gaffers' tape to protect the body from strap wear, Chandos, I've tried to do that, but I find that the black gaffer's tape is hard to get off my body without tearing off all sorts of hair when I remove it. It can really be quite painful, although it gave me a good insight into what women who wax their legs go through. I've since gone back to using shirts to protect my body from strap wear. Works like a charm, and the shirts remove easily at the end of the day. I suggest that you use this as a substitute for the gaffer's tape.
