Chandos,

I've tried to do that, but I find that the black gaffer's tape is hard to get off my body without tearing off all sorts
of hair when I remove it.   It can really be quite painful, although it gave me a good insight into what women who wax
their legs go through.  I've since gone back to using shirts to protect my body from strap wear.  Works like a charm, and
the shirts remove easily at the end of the day.  I suggest that you use this as a substitute for the gaffer's tape.
