Then the speculation can stop.< Hi Aram, Oh gee whiz I hope it doesn't stop, as it's so exciting. Gets me all tingly as each and every word is slavishly read from the screen, I can hardly finish one post to get to the next~! ;-) Come Sunday with "information press released" the tone of posts will change completely from speculation to........... complaints......or praise....."why did they do that...... why didn't they do this........ It'll never sell........ don't buy it right away, until it's out for a while.......... I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot roll of film........ it's too big...it's too small...... it's too tall...it looks cheap.... the chrome is lousy...... the black looks like a point and shoot........etc etc for another 3999 observations. And all before anyone even has one in hand!!!!" :-) Or one could just save key and picture taking time, go to the local leica dealer, find out when they'll have one in the shop and wait until then. Certainly before making any kind of comment until one has it in hand and "USED!" An example of comments can be read in the archives about the release of the R8 that were very interesting and in some cases right off the wall, shall we say, stupid! My goodness it's only a couple of days and the world will know the truth. So may I be so bold as to suggest..............."Go take pictures until then!" ;-) Make use of what you have before you praise or howl on a new camera many of you have been whining about for the past 5 years. One small question? Is this whatever it maybe and will or will it not do if you get it, are you going to immediately become a better photographer? No! I didn't think so. However? ;-) ted Ted Grant Photography Limited www.islandnet.com/~tedgrant - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
