I prefer to use a tripod for landscape work or interiors, especially when leveling the camera (with a bubble level) is essential to avoid distortion or tilting horizons; and when long exposure times are called for. I keep the M grip (with the centered tripod socket) on my M6 as a matter of personal preference. Of my four tripods, my favorite is an ancient Marchioni Tiltall. I did not relate well to the table-top tripod. Oliver Bryk - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
