Subject: [Leica] tripod use

I guess about 10-15% of my Leica pictures are made with a tripod; 100% of
the Hasselblad exposures.
I prefer to use a tripod for landscape work or interiors, especially when
leveling the camera (with a bubble level) is essential to avoid distortion
or tilting horizons; and when long exposure times are called for. I keep the
M grip (with the centered tripod socket) on my M6 as a matter of personal
preference. Of my four tripods, my favorite is an ancient Marchioni Tiltall.
I did not relate well to the table-top tripod.
