I love my Nikon F5, but the quality of the M6 is simply outstanding. Right when I am starting to think there is really little if any noticeable difference between the two systems, I see an image from the Leica that simply makes my mouth drop! (http://w3.one.net/~carleton/images/diyl/Irma-Marie-Walking.jpg) I don't know if it is what others consider as Bokah, but the sidewalk beyond my wife and daughter, it is simply so smooth and soft, I simply love it! I fully understand that the Nikon will always have a place in my arsenal. But I am wondering if it is really possible to get the quality of the M6 and 35 f/2 out of any SLR with a longer lens? The lens I am really looking at is the Leica 180mm on a R8. I am looking at both the f/2.8 and f/2. How does the f/2 hold up at apertures smaller then f/5.6? Has anyone ever compared how Leica 180mm f/2 to the Nikkor 200/2? If so, how does the "bokah" compare?
