Just checked an online inflation calculator

A $2000 camera body today would have been $335 in 1960
A $1200 (slightly used) 90 APO Summicron would have been $200 in 1960
A $400 new Voigtlander 15mm lens would have been $67 in 1960
Ten rolls of Ilford XP2/36 @ $2.99 each, or $29.90 would have been $5 in
1960!!!
