Steve:

I have been to Paris twice. About four years ago my Wife and I spent two
weeks with her husband and kids in La Visinete. Pierre was in the military
at the time and stationed at the Canadian Embassy in Paris. Two weeks with
free accommodations made it worth while. We also spent a few days
traveling the country side.

We rented a car for the two weeks and went into Paris on a daily
basis. The drivers in Paris are no worse than New York City. This time I
would like to just stay in Paris and get to learn the city.

I had just gotten back into Leicas before going to France. I brought a R4
with a 35mm Summicron, along with some Cano Eos gear. While in France I
bought a couple of zooms for the R4 from Maison du Leica. When I got back
from France and looked at my results on the K64, the Leica shots were
clearly superior.

We went back to France about a year and a half ago with another couple. We
were there for about ten days and spent most of the time traveling the
country, with the last two days in Paris. I am looking forward to spending
more time there this year.

Regards,

Robert
