Michael

I use a Gossen Luna Pro F.  Any decent digital incident meter will do.  The 
Gossen have the benefit of instant on.  There is not an on/off switch.  You 
just press a button to take a reading and it comes on instantly and 
displays the reading.

Joseph Yao has an incredible deal on Sekonic meters if you are in the 
market for a meter.
