Henry:
I have several SC-17's, one is permanently screwed onto a Sieglite, by
Cam-Ryte www.cam-ryte.com, another is kept on a Stroboframe, two spares
in bag for when I don't need the bracket.
They work well, however I must confess that they are primarily used on
Nikons. When I need to use flash on the M, (rarely) I will more than
likely just connect it directly to the hot shoe and fire away with
SB-24's or 28's. All my Nikon strobes have Stofen Omnibounce attachments
angled at 45 degrees and lighting is what I'm looking for.

All good things to you and yours

George
