They work well, however I must confess that they are primarily used on Nikons. When I need to use flash on the M, (rarely) I will more than likely just connect it directly to the hot shoe and fire away with SB-24's or 28's. All my Nikon strobes have Stofen Omnibounce attachments angled at 45 degrees and lighting is what I'm looking for.
