What I have used is a small pair of electrician's pliers. These typically have wire cutters on one side, and an almost-circular opening on the other. You can use some gaffer's tape cut to fit as a pad (no metal-to-metal contact) squeeze firmly and rotate counterclockwise (viewed from above) slightly while watching the ring. If it starts to turn, great. If not, stop and either locate the correct tool or have a camera repair person do the swap for you. Make sure to tape any edges of the pliers that could mar some other camera part while you're working. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
