Subject: [Leica] need help on place to visit in Houston, TX

I have been in Houston for about five years. A few places where your can to
interesting things to photograph:

Brazos Bed State Park (30 miles SW off of HWY 59)
Arboretum (near Memorial Park)
Philip Johnson's Waterwall (near Williams Tower near Galleria)
East Houston, opportunity to photo Oil industry refineries (ugly)
Galveston south of town has great historic architecture (and some cool
Mardis Gras stuff in February)
Best thing I have found to photograph here is the people. Very diverse
cosmopolitan population.
Not a beautiful city, but plenty to photo for a LUG member.

Just stay away from Starbucks!
I'm going to Diedrich Coffee with my camera next time.

Don
