Someone a few days ago suggested putting lenses in socks when carrying them around in a bag - this seems a very good (and cheap!) idea. What would be the best material, wool, synthetic or cotton. What I'm really asking is would one be more abrasive than the others, which would have the fewest loose fibres? As I say I am being serious.
