Last week I went to a local Rollei repair specialist to buy a new leather case and a lens hood for my 35. He also gave the camera a quick look-over and told me that there is an internal screw that can work itself loose, especially if a previous repair person has replaced it with a non-original screw or has failed to tighten it properly. And once it comes loose the camera locks up in the manner you mention. He seemed very knowledgeable and his workshop (part of his house) was a true Mecca of all things Rollei, more than I have ever seen in any shop. If you fail to find a good place to have your 35 fixed in the Netherlands, perhaps you could give this guy a try, I could help you with the arrangements. Let me know off-list if interested. > I find it difficult to comment on your PAW #2 beyond saying that it looks good > to me. Perhaps the landscape workshop with Charlie Waite at the end of November has benefitted me here. For this shot, I focused on the hyperfocal distance but one stop more conservatively than indicated by the DOF scale. That is, the aperture was f8 but I put the infinity mark next to f5.6 (or maybe it was f11 / f8, I do not remember exactly).
