I would suggest you filter everything just before it goes into the film. Filter media can be the inelegant coffee filter to lab grade media from the same places the reagent bottles come from. If you think it is coming from the final rinse then purchase a pint of denatured alcohol from a paint supplier and do the final rinse in that. It will dry very fast and will not leave water marks.
