Any other factual errors you wish to share with us? Marc >> Marc, Hmmm, have you had your fiber today, you're sounding testy again. Fritz Thyssen was a Nazi supporter and financier, until of course, he could no longer control the beast. Seems that he didn't like religious persecution and that got him in a camp. Your point? That because he ended up in a camp his financial support to the Nazi party was expunged from history? What kind of logic is that? Rommel died from sucking a cyanide pill, love gift from Hitler. Does that mean he wasn't a German general? As for "factual errors," I read about Fritzy in college. For a current website that summarizes his activities one may go to: http://www.spartacus.schoolnet.co.uk/GERthyssen.htm . But who knows, maybe those Brits who run schoolnet don't know history as well as you do either. Regarding Prescott Bush, he was a US senator from the State of CT. In my haste for looking for double-x film I left out some words and thus read, state senator. Big deal. My point, the big picture point, is that for a number of voters, Prescott's history as a financial bedmate with Nazi's was either not know to him or was irrelevant to their concerns. Maybe because we were fighting with Commies and so Nazi's looked good to us, maybe because being a cultured money launderer makes dirty hands so much easier to clean.
