From everything I have heard, 10 really makes the dual fly. I'll let you know in a couple of weeks. It also has some kind of windows program, so you shouldn't have any trouble there. I currently use a G-3, OS9.04. It is VERY stable. I had a little trouble with 9.1 and 9.2, so I just went back to the old one. Now is a good time to buy a G4 as prices just dropped signigicantly. Check out ebay...you can get anew one for near wholesale. I will write another time off list about medicine, kids and photographs.
